• Conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Developing security protocols and best practices
• Monitoring systems for security breaches and responding to incidents
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure secure coding practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering
• Strong knowledge of application and cloud security principles
• Experience with security tools and technologies
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Familiarity with secure coding practices
• Knowledge of security challenges specific to African markets would be valuable
